Registration Open for 2023 Advanced Team Physician CourseThe Advanced Team Physician Course (ATPC) will prove valuable to any team physician, certified athletic trainer, physical therapist or coach concerned in the management and prevention of injuries to the team athlete. The ATPC is a collaborative effort between AMSSM and ACSM, is co-sponsored by AOASM and AOSSM and takes place from December 6-8, at the Hyatt Regency in Salt Lake City, UT. This in-person activity is designed to provide up-to-date information on the evaluation and treatment of medical illnesses and musculoskeletal injuries occurring in competitive and recreational athletes. While the emphasis will be on athletes participating in team sports, many topics will be applicable to competitors in individual sports. The format features lectures, case presentations, panel discussions, question and-answer sessions, as well as informal discussions with the faculty. AMSSM Second Vice President Carly Day, MD, FAMSSM, is serving as the Program Chair and is one of two AMSSM Representatives on the Program Planning Committee, along with Jonathan Finnoff, DO, FAMSSM.
